My Internship at Volvo Trucks in Lyon, France was focused on analyzing and classifying crash tests' data according to different features (crash test type, speed, angle, airbag deployment, truck model, deformation, etc…); All CAE Safety Engineers at Volvo now have access to a data structure of Lyon crash tests that has never existed previously.
My second task was to Investigate airbag deployment test strategy developed for previous Medlium Trucks, and suggest new testing approaches where failure occurred.
